What is usually already broken on an accounting firm site

Five problems we see on almost every firm site before we rebuild it, each with what it actually costs the practice.

EntryCost of doing nothing

  • 01

Every service is on one page

A search engine has nothing distinct to rank, and a visitor comparing tax prep against bookkeeping cannot tell which one you actually specialize in.

  • 02

Enquiries land in a shared inbox

A warm lead sits for days until someone remembers to check it, and by then they have already called the next firm on the list.

  • 03

The site has not changed in years

Services you no longer offer are still listed, and the ones you added recently, like advisory or payroll, are invisible.

  • 04

It loads slowly on a phone

Most searches for an accountant happen on a phone during a break, and a slow page loses that visitor before your firm gets a chance.

  • 05

It cannot flex around your busiest weeks

Traffic and enquiries spike hard in short windows, and a site built for an average week either slows down or sends leads nowhere useful when it matters most.

What changes when the correcting entry goes in

The same six problems, shown as they run today against how they run once the site is rebuilt.

  • Service pages
On the books today:Tax prep, bookkeeping and payroll share one paragraph. After we rebuild:Each service has its own page, written for that service.
  • New enquiries
On the books today:Land in a shared inbox nobody owns. After we rebuild:Route straight into your CRM the moment they arrive.
  • Site changes
On the books today:Wait on a developer for a simple update. After we rebuild:5 revisions a month, completed in a couple of working days.
  • Content
On the books today:A blog nobody has posted to in a year. After we rebuild:Researched articles published on a fixed weekly schedule.
  • Mobile speed
On the books today:Slow to load on the phone a client is holding. After we rebuild:90+ PageSpeed on mobile and desktop, guaranteed.
  • Multiple offices
On the books today:One page lists every location in a paragraph. After we rebuild:Each office gets its own page, address and team.

What actually changes for the firm

  • Coverage

    01234567890123456789

practice types have their own page structure, copy and intake form.

5 revisions a month keep it that way.

  • New clients find the exact service they searched for

Because each service has its own page, a search for bookkeeping for a small business, or tax preparation for an LLC, lands on a page built for that exact question rather than a generic overview.

  • Fewer calls spent answering the same questions

Document checklists, software lists and pricing structure are published where a visitor can read them first.

  • The firm looks like the size it actually is

A solo EA practice and a multi-partner CPA firm get the same design quality and the same speed. Nothing about the site undersells the work you do.

  • Search visibility that compounds instead of resetting

A real publishing schedule and a structure search engines can index means visibility builds month over month rather than spiking once at launch and fading.

When your website has to work hardest

This is our own scheduling guidance about website traffic and enquiry timing, based on the general shape of an accounting firm's year. It is not tax advice and not a statement of any filing deadline. Your own filing dates and obligations come from a qualified professional and the relevant tax authority.

Relative demand on the site, by month01234567890123456789 peak months

  • Jan to AprDocument intake and filing-season enquiries typically peak, so the intake form and the document checklists matter most here.
  • Sep to OctA second, smaller rise around extension work, when firms who filed for more time come back looking for help.
  • DecYear-end planning conversations pick up, which is often when advisory and CFO enquiries start.

We build and manage websites. We are not a CPA firm, bookkeeping firm, tax preparer, EA practice or financial advisor, and nothing here is tax, accounting or financial advice.

What is included, on every plan

The build fee is a one-time cost, invoiced only after launch. Everything below sits inside the monthly figure.

  • 01

    The site

One page per service, one per office, team bios and a client intake form.

  • 02

    The niche tool

A client intake form configured around the services your firm actually offers.

  • 03

    A domain

One domain registered in your name, free for as long as your plan is active.

  • 04

    Hosting

Cloudflare hosting with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth.

  • 05

    CRM routing

Every enquiry delivered by direct API, Zapier or Make, wherever you work.

Our old site had one page for every service we offer, all crammed together. Splitting them out and getting an intake form that actually asked the right questions changed how prepared a first call felt.

Questions worth answering before you call

The full list, grouped by topic, is on the FAQ page.

Read every answer
How long until my site is live?

7 days on Single Entry, 10 on Double Entry while the AI agents are trained on your firm's services, and 15 on Full Ledger with the content engine set up alongside it. The clock starts at the onboarding call, not at purchase, so the sooner the form is in, the sooner you are live.

What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?

A revision is any change request you send, and there is no limit on how much goes into one. New service page, updated fee schedule, a different team photo, a new office added: each is one revision. So is something much larger sent as a single request. 5 are included every month. After the fifth, each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap on how many you can buy and no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days, whatever the size.

Is hosting an extra cost?

No. Hosting is included in the monthly fee and never billed separately. Your site runs on Cloudflare's global network with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth included. There is no hosting invoice, no SSL renewal, no bandwidth overage and no surprise line item in month four.

Do I have to pay for a domain?

No. One domain is included free for as long as your plan is active, registered in your name through Cloudflare Registrar or Spaceship, so you own it outright. If you already have a domain we point it at the new site instead and nothing changes for people who know your current address. If you ever leave, tell us where to send the domain and we transfer it at no charge.

What do I actually pay, and when?

You pay the monthly fee for the tier you choose up front: $137, $297 plus AI usage, or $747 a month. The $797 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you are satisfied with it. Domain and hosting are inside the monthly figure.

Do you offer refunds?

No. All sales are final, and that includes monthly fees, the build fee, extra revisions and any cost we pass through at what our providers charge us. We do not refund for a change of mind or for a month you did not use. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it within 10 working days. The build fee is charged only after you have approved your site, which is exactly why it is not refundable afterward.
