The monthly fee runs the site once it is live. The build fee covers the work that happens once, before launch, and it is kept separate so the monthly price never carries it.

Is this a subscription?
No. The build fee is a single $797 payment. It does not start a plan, it does not renew, and it is never charged twice. Your monthly plan is billed separately, on its own subscription.
Do I need to pay this?
Only if a build fee is due on your account and we have told you so. Plans started on or before December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived, so if yours was, there is nothing to pay here. If you are not sure, email hello@getaccountingwebsite.com before paying.
Why is the amount the same on every plan?
Because the build is the same work on every plan: the design, the launch pages, the move from your old site and the speed work. What changes between plans is what the monthly fee carries after launch, so the build fee stays at $797 whichever plan you are on.
Is paying here safe?
Yes. The payment is taken by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and never pass through or get stored on this site.
Can the build fee be refunded?
All sales are final, and that includes the build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by us, reported within 30 days of the charge. The refund policy sets out the detail.
